Balanced Buoyancy
DIFFERENCE.
At blueseventy, we celebrate it. Different day, different races, different athletes. It's what's driven the design of our new range of Balanced Buoyancy wetsuits, a recognition that everyone runs, rides and swims differently, requiring various combinations of fit, flexibility and buoyancy. Our 2010 line of wetsuits are the antitheses of the popular notion that one size fits all, recognizing that no two body types share the same natural buoyancy and muscle fibre composition. Sure its a radical departure, but then we've never been shy of swimming against the tide.

Enjoy the difference.
Balanced Buoyancy aims to deliver buoyancy where you need it most.
Neutral Buoyancy
Our Neutral Buoyancy wetsuits are designed for swimmers with good body position in the water. The Helix is our most buoyant suit, with buoyancy panels spread throughout the suit delivering a higher overall body position in the water, without altering the ratio between the upper and lower body, allowing for a more efficient stroke.
Balanced Buoyancy
Balanced Buoyancy suits are specifically designed with triathletes in mind. Triathletes are often heavier in the legs due to the muscles developed through cycling and running, which can create drag if they are not able to maintain good body position. Balanced Buoyancy wetsuits like the Axis use higher buoyancy materials in the hips, thighs and lower leg. This increases the height of the lower body, lifting the legs and hips and putting the body in a more streamlined position, reducing drag and allowing for a more efficient swim stroke.
