blueseventy crew fire up at Timberman

Andy Potts led from gun to tape (his super quick swim of 22.42 mins in his helix tst may have had something to do with it?), finishing well ahead of the rest of the field with his time of 3:52:32. Fraser Cartmell claimed 2nd in 4:02:24 and Simon Lessing was third in 4:03:10.
Once again blueseventy’s Chrissie Wellington showed she can’t wait for Kona when she smashed the women’s field winning in her time of 4:11:46 - her time was good enough for the 6th spot overall. It was a more exciting race for second though, as Amanda Stevens, Cynthia Wilson and Dede Griesbauer (also blueseventy) all finished within two minutes of each other. Stevens and Wilson rounded out the podium with their times of 4:30:03 and 4:31:26 respectively.
