Ernie grew up in Minnesota playing hockey until the age of 19. While attending Arizona State he switched over to Triathlon after realizing that it was a great excuse to spend his 20s and hopefully 30s outside playing all day. Brittany Higgins
Brittany Higgins was introduced to triathlons at a young age when her dad, being a triathlete, would bring her along to local races. She eventually jumped in and started competing along side him. In High School, Brittany started running competitively. She went on to attended Southern Illinois University, where she ran Cross Country, Indoor/Outdoor Track and graduated with a degree in English and Minor in Journalism.
After college, Brittany missed competitive racing and was looking for an outlet. While working full-time, she began training and started having success within the local triathlon community.
Needing to further challenge herself, she started competing at the pro level in the longer Olympic and 70.3 distances. Since 2018, Brittany has fully dedicated her time to the professional sport while working part-time. -

Ka'eo Kruse
Ka'eo was born and raised on Kaua'i in the Hawaiian Islands. After accumulating multiple State Championship medals and records in both running and swimming at his Native Hawaiian High School, he decided to focus solely on running in college. Studying Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard and then Kinesiology at the University of Virginia as a masters student, he went on to run at NCAA Nationals in the 1500 with a 3:56 mile PR equivalent before getting recruited by USAT to focus on making Olympic teams in short-course triathlon. In one year as a professional, Ka'eo has accumulated 3 podiums leaving him ranked in the top 150 and 7th in the US in the WT world rankings.

Tamara Jewett
Tamara Jewett is a former lawyer turned full-time 70.3/middle distance long-course specialist. She's had 4 career 70.3 wins since going pro at the end of 2019, two of them in 2023. Tamara transitioned to triathlon after almost a decade of repetitive strain injuries derailed her track and field ambitions. Meeting her current swim coach in 2020 - who described her swimming at that time as "surprisingly good for someone who doesn't really know how to swim!" - and working hard to learn proper competitive swim form was a big driver of her continuing interest in the sport.
